Ingredients

Serves: 1 | Prep time: 5 minutes | Keeps: Up to 5 days in the fridge

  • ½ ripe banana, mashed

  • ⅓ cup rolled oats (or soaked buckwheat groats for gluten-free)

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

  • ½ tbsp 100% Pure Mānuka Honey

  • ½ tsp ground turmeric

  • ½ tsp ground ginger

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¾ cup plant-based or dairy milk


Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl or jar and mix until well combined.

  2. Cover and place in the fridge for at least 15 minutes (or overnight).

  3. In the morning, top with yoghurt, extra banana slices, nut butter, and a sprinkle of hemp seeds or any crunchy seed/nut you have on hand.


Optional Swaps & Additions

  • Swap banana for grated apple or pear

  • Use any nut or seed in place of pumpkin seeds

  • Try fresh turmeric and ginger instead of ground for an extra zing
