Christmas Shortbread with Honey

  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/3 Cup Honey
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 3/4 Cup Flour

  1. Cream together the butter and the sugar.

  2. Add in the vanilla, honey, and cinnamon.

  3. In a separate bowl combine the salt and the flour.

  4. Add to the wet mixture and combine.

  5. Place the dough into the fridge to chill for at least one half hour.

  6. Bring back out, tear off a generous hunk and roll out on a well floured surface to about 1/2" thick.

  7. Cut out desired shapes and place them on a greased cookie sheet.

  8. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 8 minutes.
