Honeydew is a rare form of honey made when bees collect the sap from trees, and contains many polyphenols. It also contains many oligosaccharides in comparison with other honeys, and strongly stimulates benign intestinal bacteria. In recent years it has come to be widely discussed as having a natural power comparable to that of manuka honey.
