Flapjacks recipe

Clover honey flapjacks

Crunchy and sweet all in one bite. Have a look at this delicious recipe!


Makes 8-10 flapjacks

  • 4 tbsp clover honey
  • 4 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
  • 100g jumbo/wholemeal oats
  • 75g porridge oats
  • 20g sultanas
  • 15g pumpkin seeds
  • 15g sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp stoneground wholemeal flour

Optional: seeds/sultanas can be swapped for equivalent amount of chocolate chips


  1. Put the honey and peanut butter into a saucepan and melt gently over a low heat until the mixture is combined and runny.
  2. In a separate bowl, add the oats, sultanas, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and flour, and mix thoroughly.
  3. Add the honey and peanut butter mixture into the dry ingredients and stir well until all the dry mixture is well coated with the honey and peanut butter mixture.
  4. Tip the flapjack mixture onto a lined baking tray (square 21cm) and use the back of a spoon to spread it evenly.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Leave on the tray until cool, then cut into bars before removing them from the tray.
